Leads efforts to position Mississippi as a top retirement destination, managing certified retiree-friendly cities and coordinating statewide retiree attraction initiatives.
Community Incentives
Provides grants, loans, and technical support to communities for infrastructure projects that drive economic development, private investment, and job growth.
Community and Rural Development
Provides educational and strategic support to communities throughout the state.
Disaster Recovery
Focuses on rebuilding housing stock and infrastructure and creating jobs following disasters to foster resilience and recovery.
Energy and Natural Resources
Designated as the state’s energy office, receives federal funding, and leads the Mississippi Energy Plan to promote energy development, workforce readiness, efficiency, and research.
Governor’s Office of Military Affairs
Expands military missions and presence in Mississippi using Base Enhancement 
Funding and collaboration with military 
leaders and Congress.
