A&W Custom Furniture expanding in Okolona
- Furniture manufacturer creating 20 jobs
- Expansion represents corporate investment of $2.2 million
Jackson, Miss. (Sept. 25, 2026) – A&W Custom Furniture is expanding its operations in Okolona. The project represents a corporate investment of $2.2 million and will create 20 jobs.
Founded in 2023, A&W Custom Furniture manufactures upholstered furniture, specializing in sofas and sectionals. The company currently employs 72 workers and operates three production lines at its Chickasaw County facility.
As part of the expansion, A&W Custom Furniture will purchase the manufacturing facilities it currently leases and add a fourth production line. The project also includes facility improvements and new equipment that will increase production capacity and support continued sales growth.
The Mississippi Development Authority is providing assistance through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive, or MFLEX. Chickasaw County and the city of Okolona also are supporting the project.
