Indianola Pecan House Expanding Operations in Indianola
Jackson, Mississippi — June 26, 2015 — Officials from Indianola Pecan House announce the company is expanding operations in Indianola, Mississippi. The project represents a $50,000 corporate investment and will create 10 jobs, bringing the total number employed at the Indianola location to 60.
For the expansion, Indianola Pecan House will relocate its cracking and cooking operations into a 40,000-square-foot facility purchased from the county.
“I am grateful to the team at Indianola Pecan House for expanding its operations and creating new job opportunities for the residents of Indianola and the Delta region,” Governor Phil Bryant said. “For more than 30 years, this homegrown company has been delivering its quality products throughout Mississippi and the U.S., and this latest expansion is a testament to the longevity and success Mississippi entrepreneurs enjoy throughout our state. I wish the Indianola Pecan House team many more years of success.”

Mississippi Development Authority provided assistance in support of the project for infrastructure improvements. The city of Indianola provided assistance for the project, as well.
