Community Fair Housing Forum
Tuesday, April 28, 2015
The Fair Housing Act protects citizens from housing discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status or disability. Federal laws prohibit any organization, entity or unit of government from violating fair housing laws. All Citizens, Local Government Officials, Housing Professionals, Lending Institutions, Real Estate Agents and other interested parties are invited to attend.
Equal Housing Opportunity Statement: We
are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S.
policy for the achievement of equal housing
opportunity throughout the Nation. We
encourage and support an affirmative
advertising and marketing program in which
there are no barriers to obtaining housing on
the basis of race, color, national origin,
religion, sex, disability, and familial status. The
Mississippi Development Authority does not
discriminate on the basis of disability in the
admissions or access to or treatment or
employment in its programs or activities.
