NPL Construction locating fabrication and manufacturing operations in Greenwood

Jackson, Miss. (June 10, 2026) – NPL Construction, a utility and energy infrastructure services company, is locating fabrication and manufacturing operations in Greenwood. The project represents a corporate investment of more than $1.9 million and will create more than 40 jobs.

NPL Construction provides infrastructure solutions to utility and energy clients with a focus on natural gas distribution and pipeline transmission. The company also operates fabrication facilities that assemble components including pipings, compressor stations, vaults, skids and related infrastructure. In Greenwood, the company will lease a 70,000-square-foot facility to support fabrication and manufacturing activities tied primarily to utility-related products.

The Mississippi Development Authority is supporting the project through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive, or MFLEX, program. The city of Greenwood and Leflore County also are assisting with the project.

The company expects to begin operations in Greenwood on June 6, 2026.
