The Home Buyer Advantage Program (HBA) provides one-time down payment assistance grants to individuals and families, whose incomes are 120 percent or less than the area median income, to assist them with the purchase of abandoned and foreclosed homes. The Mississippi Home Corporation will administer this $23 million program.
This program will be available in the 48 communities of greatest need, as determined by foreclosure rates. Click here for a list of these communities.
