HOME Investment Partnerships Grants Program
HOME is a federally funded grant program designed to strengthen partnerships between public and private agencies to provide affordable housing within state and local communities.
Local communities can use HOME funds to improve their housing situation in many different ways, including: Homeowner Rehabilitation/Reconstruction, New Construction or Substantial Rehabilitation of multi-family rental units; and Assistance to Homebuyers. The State HOME Program makes funds available to county governments and certified Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs), incorporated municipalities, not designated by HUD as local participating jurisdictions or Consortium.
