Mississippi Procurement Technical Assistance Program (MPTAP)

The Mississippi Procurement Technical Assistance Program (MPTAP) supports our national security and state economic development by ensuring a broad base of capable suppliers for the defense industry and federal, state and local agencies by bringing new businesses that would otherwise be unable to compete in the government marketplace. MPTAP connects small, minority, disadvantaged, women-owned and veteran-owned businesses with local buying offices, helping agencies meet their Congressionally mandated procurement goals.

The map shows the locations of the five (5) Contract Procurement Centers within the state, and the counties they cover, as well as the location of the program office. For a PDF version of this map, select Contract Procurement Centers.

The MPTAP also serves as a direct resource for local and regional Department of Defense (DoD) operations, connecting them with qualified suppliers for specialized good or services, or working with suppliers to ensure that they can capably perform their contracts.
