Governor Haley Barbour recently announced the awarding of more than $6.7 million in grant or loan awards for improvements and growth in 30 Mississippi municipalities and counties through the Capital Improvements Revolving Loan (CAP), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) programs. |

To kick off October as Energy Awareness Month, the Mississippi Development Authority’s (MDA) Energy Division hosted its annual Renewable Energy Day today at the Agricultural and Forestry Museum in Jackson. The event, which targeted area schoolchildren grades 1st through 8th, promoted a greater awareness of energy sources and demonstrates how energy can be used more efficiently and effectively. |
